Attended this youth conference last night called Radical Conference. The band that came down was called Youth Alive. If I'm right, they are from Youth Alive Western Australia. They really play loud music man. Been some time since I heard such volume in a church. Technically wise, they were a tight band in that they covered for each other very well. The drummer and bassist were fantastic.

Their style of playing is similar to Hillsongs United and Planetshakers. maybe I should say that Hillsongs and Planetshakers play similar to the Youth Alive band. If I'm right, Planetshakers had its roots in Youth Alive. Some of the Hillsongs members were part of Youth Alive previously. Their similarities could be attributed to their Australian Church culture as American praise and worship music is different in certain ways. Brit Rock has its own distinct style too.

I enjoyed myself last night throughout the praise and worship segment and would be joining them later in the evening for another session.

I'm always inspired whenever I see a good band playing up on stage. I do wish to see a band with such a heart and passion for God and be musically adept as well in my youth ministry. I wish to be part of such a band as well!
